Smart Agrifood Summit hosts a lecture on the NESS System

From 20 to 22 June at the Congress Centre of Málaga (FYCMA), the latest edition of Smart Agrifood Summit 2019 was attended by the company Métrica6. A great international event that was the epicenter of the digital transformation in the agrifood sector. This event, a pioneer in Europe, had as its main objective the promotion of entrepreneurship, innovation and digitalisation of all aspects of the agri-food value chain, from the field to the table; and it wanted to contribute to the growth of the sector and all its ancillary industries.

The agri-food industry is one of the fundamental economic motors of the European Union, with an annual turnover of over 1,000 billion euros, and is an important vehicle for integration and cultural cohesion between different peoples and territories. For this reason, this event was promoted by the European Commission itself through the ‘Startup Europe’ initiative, with the support of the Regional Government of Andalusia and was organised by FYCMA itself and by the European Foundation for Innovation (INTEC).

The company Métrica6 was represented in the next Smart Agrifood Summit 2019 by its CEO, Eduardo Dueñas and the technical director (CTO), Marcos Ortega who had a wide agenda of contacts with which they tried to establish synergies with companies in the sector, for the achievement of new innovation projects.
