Investors interested in NESS at Alhambra Venture

Investors and entrepreneurs met in Granada on 3 and 4 July. The Andalusian city was the capital of opportunities for startups, with the celebration of the sixth edition of the Alhambra Venture at the Granada Conference Centre. The event, organised by IDEAL, welcomed large investors and young entrepreneurs seeking funding for their projects. During the two days an extensive programme was developed in which work was done to achieve millions of euros in investment. The water saving technology NESS and its appointment with the venture in Alhambra Venture was one of the great novelties of an edition in which Métrica6 was present again, after a previous participation.

Alhambra Venture 2019 selected innovative projects from the eight Andalusian provinces and Extremadura, Valencia, Murcia. In addition, there were participants in different acceleration programmes such as Andalucía Open Future, Minerva and Telefónica Open Future Extremadura. The winners of the AJE awards in the category of entrepreneurship in the provinces of Jaén, Seville and Huelva stood out among those chosen. A variety of participants who saw this meeting as a benchmark for raising finance for entrepreneurs in southern Spain.

The Alhambra Venture programme was designed with presentations of first swords in the world of startup financing, pitches for investors, recognition for visirs and dialogues between different specialists. Isidro Laso, DG Research and innovation of European Commission was at the inauguration on July 3rd. Another speaker was Punit Aggarwal, ex-Head of Entrepeneur Development Google.

Innovative Technology

The company Métrica6 returned to Granada, after participating in previous years in the Alhambra Venture. On this occasion, the people of Malaga returned to what is their second home with NESS water-saving technology. The device was presented in its own stand where all visitors could see first hand its operation and efficiency from the hand of the CEO of Métrica6, Eduardo Dueñas, who represented the company.
