Did you know that there is a way to save up to 800 litres per month per person with a single move?

Numerous posts will tell you about tips and daily routines that you can adapt to your day-to-day life to reduce water consumption. However, some of them can be tedious or impractical depending on the circumstances and finally, for convenience, we end up abandoning these habits that, in principle, were a very good idea.

It is easy to look for solutions that allow us to save water at home, but it gets complicated when we want to maintain them over time, as they are not a definitive solution and you have to be very conscious of all your actions for them to be effective.

A technology has been developed in Spain that allows you to save water comfortably and without affecting your daily routines. We are talking about WAISENSE, which allows you to use hot water instantly, without the need for water accumulators or high energy costs, so the savings are twofold: it saves more water than energy used and also prevents water that has not been wasted from having to be treated again for its use, having a positive impact on the carbon footprint.

This technology is activated like a light switch, and the cold water that is stored in the hot water pipe, instead of flowing out of the tap and being wasted, is returned to the plumbing system simply by a bypass that connects the two pipes. The system ensures that not a drop is wasted and notifies you when the hot water has reached the desired location. In short, it allows you to save water at home every time you want to use hot water.

WAISENSE allows a household to save 24,000 litres of water per year, taking into account that the average number of people in a Spanish household is 2.5 according to the National Institute of Statistics.
